Last Friday, after our final day at work, we held a farewell drink with our closest friends and family!
And then, finally departure day! Sunday, May 1, 2016, the departure date of our trip, the trip we dreamed about for so long. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast at Ayla, then at 10:00, waved out by a group of friends, we stepped into the Jimny. Upon arrival at a campsite in Mariental (Helmetstad, DE) we toasted with champagne in front of our camp.
Next day we drove to Prague. Two nights in a fine hotel. In Prague we visited all the highlights and of course found a pub to drink some beers for only a few Czech crowns. Prague is remarkably clean and an easily accessible city, lost of friendly people, beautiful buildings and good public transport system.
Tomorrow (Wed 4 May) we leave to the south-east of the Czech Republic. The plan is to sleep in the tent the next few days. Where exactly? We’ll see…
